(3) Hole – Mickael Chatelain: One of Mickael Chatelain’s pet effects, and it is a real fooler!
The spectator examines a red card that has a 1" hole through its center. Aside from the hole, the card is perfectly ordinary.
Take out a few self-stick labels and invite the spectator to choose and sign one of them.
Take the top card of the deck and place the red card with the hole on top of it.
Using the label, hinge the two cards together at the bottom edge.
Invite a spectator to verify that your "construction" is solid by pulling on it.
Now you explain to your spectator that nothing can pass through the joined cards without tearing the label. The proof: invite your spectator to take a card from the deck, sign it, and place it between your two attached cards. His card is still visible through the hole in the red card but, as the spectator will note, the label prevents all passage.
Now for the magic! Slowly place the spectator's card between your two cards. Show both sides, leaving no doubt that the spectator's card is trapped. Yet, slowly the spectator's card passes through the label as if it weren't there. Immediately show that your "construction" is as solid as it was at the beginning!
A truly curious experiment made all the more so as your spectator can examine the cards and the label! An unsolvable mystery!
Remember:
The principle for Hole is really different.
The spectator can hold the cards without being any the wiser.

(8) The Vanishing – Shin Lim:

(9) Knock 'em Dead II - Perer Nardi:

A great idea from Russ Styler, this funny routine is proving a real winner, and a good way of leaving your audience with your contact info!

Have a card selected and returned to the pack. Explain that you have the world's thinnest calculator, and produce a small packet of specially printed cards. The spectator signs the front of one of the calculator cards to 'activate' it.

Then, there follows a series of good sight gags and finally the chosen card is found with the help of the calculator.

This is not one of those 'great ideas' that somebody had. It is something that Russ has been working for years and as a full time pro he tends to know what works in the real world.

The, he hands the menu to the spectator. She looks through the menu and pays close attention to the names of cocktails

(3) Astonish – Bob Solari: A red card box is placed on the table in full view.
Performer explains that the box contains a blue backed prediction card.
A red backed deck is handed to the spectator to mix.
The spectator freely selects any card from this mixed deck.
The blue backed card is removed from the card box.

(6) Jumbo Quick Monte - Meir Yedid: The Three Card Monte has long been a popular gambling game played on the streets of most major cities and featured in movies and on television.
